Finally back to performances and social events after the pandemic!
Spring Social - Film Night: Sunday 3rd April, 2022
Where: Cumberwell Park Golf Club, Bradford on Avon (plenty of parking on site)
What: we will be watching the film Filshermans' Friends, from which we are currently learning the song 'No Hopers, Jokers, and Rogues'. A hot meal will be provided as well as cinema snacks (popcorn and pick 'n' mix). A bar is available to purchase drinks.
Cost: £15 per person - friends and family welcome
Sing-a-thon for Ukraine: Saturday 7th May, 2022
Where: Parade Gardens, Bath
When: 3.30pm
What: we will be singing a selection of our current songs during this day-long event to raise money for the Ukraine Humanitarian Appeal
Cost: none. Please invite friends and family to come and watch. Donations are encouraged!
Party in the City: Friday 13th May, 2022
Where: St Swithin's Church, The Paragon, Bath
When: performance at 7.30pm. Performers please arrive for 7pm.
What: we will be singing seven of our current songs as part of the wider city event to celebrate the start of the Bath Festival
Cost: free! You can enjoy all events across the city for free on this evening.
Summer Social - Ghost Tour/Meal in Bath: Sunday 24th July, 2022
Where: Part 1/Ghost Tour, meeting on York Street. Part 2/Meal, meeting at The Real Italian Pizza Co.
What: A 1-hour Silent Disco Ghost Tour, taking in the ghost tales of Bath whilst boogieing to some well-know eighties bops...that only we will be able to hear! Followed by a pizza dinner to which your friends and family are welcome to join.
Cost: The ghost tour is £10 per person / dinner is whatever you choose to eat. The first round of drinks will be covered by choir.
Halloween Charity Rehearsal: Monday 31st October, 2022
Where: Wesley Road Church, our usual rehearsal venue
What: a special evening to raise some money for the Bath Cats & Dogs Home. We'll have a donation station for food, toys, and treats, and there'll be some fairground style games to win small prizes. Feel free to dress up for the evening!
Joint Christmas Concert with the Bath City Singers: Saturday 17th December, 2022
Where: St. Michael's Church, Walcot Street, Bath, BA1 5LJ (parking opposite in The Podium/Waitrose)
When: 7pm (doors open 6.30pm)
What: Our first concert in three years! We absolutely cannot wait to host this event and have a fantastic selection of festive and non-festive songs prepared for everyone's enjoyment.
Cost: £8/6 - tickets available on the door from 6.30pm
Christmas Social: Monday 19th December, 2022
Where: Toby Carvery, Cradle Bridge Retail Park, Trowbridge, BA14 0NB
What: a festive dinner, present-swap, and Christmas quiz
Cost: the evening is £11 per person (£9 if you're going meat-free) and you also need to bring a wrapped gift with a value up to £4. Sign up at rehearsals from mid-November. Payment in cash is required in advance.
